Strong Tower Radio has been braodcasting the "Three Angels Messages" to the entire Eastern Upper Peninsula and Sault, Ontario since March 8, 2012. The cost to purchase this frequency was $150,000.00, with $100,000.00 down and $50,000.00 to be paid at 6% on a five year note. We have an anonymous donor that has given us a $25,000.00 matching gift to retire this $50,000.00 note. Also, our monthly budget to keep WIHC 97.9FM broadcasting 24/7 is $3,000.00 per month. Strong Tower Radio has recently purchased a construction permit to build 100,000 Watt WUPJ 90.9FM in Escanaba.We are in the midst of a capital campaign to raise the $150,000.00 needed to build this frequency and begin broadcasting the "Everlasting Gospel" throughout the central and western Upper Peninsula. The FCC has given us the go ahead on the WGCP 91.9FM expansion from 2,000 watts to 25,000 watts. The small circle on the map is our current broadcast region, covering about 125,000 people. The bigger circle represents the new broadcast region, in which we will be able to reach about 500,000 people! WGCP 91.9FM is the mother-ship of the Strong Tower Radio Network.
