Blind Bike Camp Visits STR

July 23rd through the 29th marked a special time of adventure and excitement as the Blind Bikers (sponsored by the Michigan Conference of Seventh Day Adventists Community Service Department), took to the Fred Meijer Heartland Trail to ride from the Great Lakes Adventist Academy (Cedar Lake, Michigan) to the nearby cities of Riverdale and McBride. A special part of the trip this year was a visit on July 28th to the Strong Tower Radio Broadcast Center. During a tour of the station, the campers enjoyed hearing the exciting history of the origin of the station and how God has worked to provide multiple stations in many different locations. A special treat for one of the campers and staff was to be interviewed for a program to be aired on the station in the near future. All in all it was a great new experience for the campers and an opportunity for them to hear how God is still moving among his people today. Ray Cook of Blind Bikers Camp.

New 'Your Story Hour' Hosts Announced

'Your Story Hour', a Strong Tower Radio listeners' favorite story telling program for young and old a like, just announced their new hosts, Nicole Buckhanan, named 'Aunt Nikki' and Jon Clayburn, called 'Uncle Jon'.  The immediate past co-host, Carol Pezet named 'Aunt Carol', reports she has been coaching them and that they are already recording introductions to the programs.

For awhile, you will be hearing the new programs with Aunt Nikki and Uncle Jon intermixed with some of the programs that Aunt Carol and Uncle Dan record.  We are happy that this transition has been successfully made for the continuation of this quality family friendly program.
